What we offer
We offer a variety of workshops and trainings built with accessibility and self-determination in mind. Constellation Workshops are places where people can explore, ask questions, learn, and grow. At this time all workshops will be in person at the organization or agency that contracts us, however virtual sessions may be an option in limited situations.

Healthy Love
This is a 20 session workshop geared towards adults with intellectual and developmental disabilites that provides comprehensive sexuality and relationship education. It incorporates elements from Elevatus Training’s “Sexuality Education for Adults with Developmental Disabilities” curriculum while also weaving in extra space for structured conversations and information processing. These classes are 1.5 hours long and can be taught once or twice weekly depending on need. At this time this workshop is only available for contracting by organizations, and space must be provided.
-
Specialized Group Workshops
We are available to build and facilitate workshops tailored to the needs expressed or recognized within organizations that work with adults with IDD. Some examples may be psychoeducational workshops about grief, reproductive hygiene, practicing healthy communication, education about LGBTQ identities (this is embedded in the Healthy Love curriculum as well), and much more. Get in touch to see how we can collaborate and learn together!

For Guardians and Direct Support Providers
In addition to providing education for adults with IDD, we also believe there is significant value in educating guardians and staff members on both navigating conversations about sexuality and providing the most ethical, just, and person centered support possible.
Not only will we work with you to build vocabulary, skills, and comfort in these areas, we will also provide education about how to balance worries about safety with the autonomy of those in your care. These consultations can be scheduled 1:1 or as group workshop.
-
Individual and Group Supervision and Case Consultation
We are happy to be able to provide clinicial supervision for groups and individual clinicians. We can be contracted by organizations to host structured consultation about providing care for adults with IDD. We also have limited availability for 1:1 LMSW-CC supervision for those coming in to this field. This is an excellent option if the organization where you work does not have an LCSW on staff. Qualified and well trained clinicial social workers are an essential and underrepresented part of the network of care for adults with IDD in Maine and we would be honored to help you on your way.

What Else?
Constellation Workshops is excited to work towards a more just and equitable world for adults with IDD. What else would be helpful for us to offer? Please don’t hesitate to reach out with ideas, needs, and concerns.
Pricing and Payment
It is important to us that sex education is available for all regardless of the ability to pay. We believe that free and open access to this information makes individuals and communities safer, and thus barriers to receiving it are ethically unacceptable.
We also have overhead costs and are unable to take insurance reembursement for our services.
At this time we are functioning on donations for our services in order to allow all who are interested to attend regardless of ability to pay, while also supporting start-up funding for the organization.
We are local to Central Maine. Extra travel fees may be incurred if travel significantly outside of Waldo, Knox, Lincoln, Kennebec, or Hancock counties are required.
Individual Clinical Supervision for LMSW-CC’s is provided for $75 an hour.
For all other services please reach out to discuss pricing and payment as group size, location, and content all must be taken into account.
Disclaimer
Though Emma is a fully licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), no one accessing Constellation Workshops’ services are entering into a therepeutic relationship with her. None of our services are psychotherapy. We exclusively provide consultation, supervision, and education.
